Our Secret to a Happy Marriage

While we were on vacation, I was reading "Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me." It was hilarious, and I definitely recommend it! She is just too funny, and if you've seen her show or read her other books, you'll totally understand her humor in this book!

Anyway, as I was reading through the chapter written by Brad Wollack,
I came across this paragraph about him and his wife on their honeymoon.

"Needless to say, no matter how exotic the locale or romantic the setting, after ten days alone, two people run out of things to do and shit to say."

Granted they were together over 6 years before they got married. And we've only been together a little over 2 1/2 years. But I really don't see that happening to us.
There are a lot of things I love about the Husband. But one of the biggest things is, he makes me laugh. He's the only person I've ever fully been myself with, and we just have so much fun together. It doesn't matter where we are, or what we're doing, we always make each other laugh. We're easily amused, which probably helps, but still. It makes everything in life so much easier to be with someone who makes you laugh.

So my biggest advice is to find someone who makes you laugh. Find someone who you can be silly with.
And most of all, find some one you can 100% be yourself with. And don't settle for anything less.
