Why Rays of Purple? Well, purple is my favorite color, and amethyst is my birth stone! I also love the sun, and consider myself a pretty positive person. Thus, Rays of Purple was born! This little love of mine started as more of a lifestyle blog, but it also helped me to discover the crafty side of myself and a hidden love for baking.
This blog gets pretty random sometimes, but that makes it a perfect reflection of me!
I love this community more than anything, and I always look forward to meeting new people! I am a pretty shy person, but this blog has helped me to push myself out of a comfort zone a little bit, and I couldn't be more grateful for that.
On weekdays you will find me at a typical "9-5" desk job, but I absolutely adore the company I work for. My Husband, T, actually works for the same company, so it works out nicely. After work and on weekends, you will usually find me spending time with T, or working on this blog in some way.
I have a big passion for ocean conservation, and I care so much about the saving of whales and dolphins. My loyalties lie with Sea Shepherd and Paul Watson. If you've never seen The Cove or an episode of Whale Wars, I highly recommend it. Friends don't let friends go to Sea World!
